two much

When two people are cooking, it may happen, that it's simply two much.

This time, it was my turn to create the soup and I came up with the idea of pimping a simple vegetable soup with some chillies and cross this with some walnuts and fryed pears. Well, it was quite tasty, apart from the fact that the pears were really a necessity, as I should not have pounded the dryed chillies before adding them. ;-)

The main meal, created by Tiger, was a really simple but very delicious Normandian chicken.

Well, now I'll have to postpone my plans for a chicken-based meal for the upcoming weekend and think about something else. Maybe something much more experimental. :-)

Finally, things are cooking.

Yeehaa, I found some time again for cooking experiments.

This time I built small quiches containing cod and chestnuts. It turned out, that this experiment is quite tasty.

It's been a while...

...since my last blog entry.

So here's a quick wrap-up of the last months. First of all, I'm in a new project, working as a test manager to introduce and support QA efforts in a J2EE based software development project.

Apart from that, I've been to a scavenger hunt of some friends - no not geocaching, a real paper chase. At this event, I met some really lovely people. Some of which I introduced to the real
thing and now, they're geocachers too. :-D

Well, in the last 6 months, I've seldomly been caching, but as I introduced the other guys, the fun came back and thats why I decided to put up some pictures from now and then.

1st book of the bible...

No. This is going to be a religious blog. Not even a religious entry.

This is about three men I visited today. The works of these men stayed besides men through most of my life. Two weeks after seeing Peter Gabriel's great show in Mayence, Tiger, Zebra and I went to Stuttgart to see Genesis.

Though Peter's has been perfect, he had left out these most spectacular elements, which characterized his last tour. The sound of todays show has been a match to PG's show, although the bass has been much stronger. Well, PGs show has been for about 5000 people whereas this one had about 40000.

What mad this show really special, was not this impressigve bass. It was not the most fabulous drum duett between Chester and Phil, or seeing Phil the entertainer throwing around his tambourine and bashing it with every part of his body one can punch with.

It has been the great lightshow, which perfectly matched the the music. This has been a very good example of how a show could look like. One could feel, that these guys really had fun doing their job. And that there is a reason, why they perform it for so many years.

In short: Great show.

mmmmh...

i like zucchini. Especially,. if they're filled with brown rice, mongoose beans and some other vegetables. This collaborative meal was a tasty start into a very nice, interesting and fun evening. I hope this is to be continued. :-D
